The AMIR Fund for Education, Science and Technology offers up to 20 tuition scholarships to able Muslim medical and dental students from low-income households. Awards can be renewed each year until graduation.
Who can apply
- Nigerian Muslim students from low-income households who can show financial need
- Students of MBBS or BDS in 200 level or above
- A minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5.00 scale
- Students at one of these universities: UI, UNILAG, OAU, ABU, BUK, UNILORIN, UNN, UNIBEN, the Federal University of Medical Sciences Abeokuta, LASU or OOU
What you get
- 100% of tuition and mandatory school fees, paid directly to your university
- Renewal every year until graduation, as long as you keep a CGPA of at least 3.50
