The FAJIM Scholars Programme gives financial support, mentorship and professional development to undergraduate students preparing for healthcare careers in Nigerian public universities.
Who can apply (new applicants)
- Students in 200 level at a Nigerian public university
- Students of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Radiography or Medical Laboratory Science
- A CGPA of 5.00 on a 5-point scale, or an equivalent result accepted by the FAJIM Scholarship Committee
- Applicants with genuine financial need who are willing to join mentorship, health education and community service activities
Volunteering experience helps but is not required.

Documents to upload
- A recent passport photograph with a white background
- Your current course registration record, or an official letter confirming your enrolment and level
- Your latest transcript or statement of results (Direct Entry students should upload their entry qualification results)
- One signed recommendation letter from your Faculty Dean, Sub-Dean or Head of Department, addressed to The Scholarship Committee, FAJIM Medicare Foundation
How to apply
Use the Apply now button to open the new-applicant form, complete it and upload your documents. Applications run from 5 to 11 October 2026 and close at 11:59 p.m. WAT on 11 October 2026. Only shortlisted applicants are contacted.
Current FAJIM scholars: do not use the new-applicant form. Wait for the renewal form shared in the official FAJIM Scholars' WhatsApp group.
